Fastelavn in Julemosegård 2026

Come in costume for Fastelavn by the swings! Local residents are invited to enjoy the traditional barrel game, Fastelavn buns and good company for children and adults alike.

Thank you to Natursøhusene

Natursøhusene sponsored the Fastelavn buns, along with barrels, bats and barrel contents for the traditional barrel game.

Saturday 21 February 2026 · 13:00–16:00

All Julemosegård residents are invited to celebrate Fastelavn by the swings with games, costumes and time with neighbours.

The barrel game for everyone

There will be two barrels for the traditional game of taking turns to hit a suspended wooden barrel:

Children aged 0–13.
Teenagers and adults aged 14 and over.

Costumes are required to take part, for both children and adults! The funnier and more imaginative, the better. We will award prizes for the best children’s and adults’ costumes.

Participation costs DKK 25 per person, the same for children and adults. The youngest children will receive a small bag of sweets.

Fastelavn buns and refreshments

After the barrel game, treat yourself to a traditional Fastelavn bun with coffee, hot chocolate or squash for DKK 20.

You are also welcome to simply drop by for a chat and perhaps a bun.

We look forward to a few lovely hours of laughter, costumes and good company – the more costumes, the merrier!
