Happy New Year. This circular is a general notice sent to all residents.

Waste collection, snow clearing and salting

The new year has brought considerable snow. Allerød Municipality advises that cardboard was not collected at around 50 addresses because the access paths from the road to the bins had not been cleared.

Residents are responsible for snow clearing and salting in their own back gardens and between the road and their front doors. The property service company clears and salts the shared roads and parking areas.

If your collection was missed for this reason and you want collection before the next scheduled date, 2 February, you can order an extra collection at your own expense through the municipality’s waste self-service.

Bird feeding

Bird feeding is not allowed under the property’s house rules because it can attract rats. If you are feeding birds, please stop immediately.
