Gates to the nature park and shared-area updates

April 15, 2026

New gates, clearance from the livestock fence, pond aeration, paths, dog-waste bags and picnic tables: LEA’s complete shared-area update.

The notice from LEA

Dear residents of Julemosegård,

This general notice has been sent to all residents. We hope you enjoyed Easter and are beginning to feel spring approaching.

Gates and fencing towards the nature park

The plan has long been to install gates from Julemosegård to the nature park for easier direct access. These gates are now being installed.

The livestock fence currently stands 1.5 metres inside the municipality’s land in most places. It will be moved to stand 1.75 metres inside that land. A clearance of 1.75 metres up to the fence must therefore be maintained so the municipality can maintain the area and mow from its side.

The municipality maintains the area from its side of the fence using mowing equipment that can reach over it. The distance ensures the electric fence remains fully effective in keeping cattle on the correct side and allows the intended maintenance.

If you have installed fencing or other objects closer than 1.75 metres to the municipal fence, they must be moved to provide the required clearance. The landlord will install “private area” signs at the ends so the strip along the fence does not appear to be a walking route for people without access.

The landlord understands this may affect individual residents and asks for understanding, as it is necessary to meet the municipality’s requirements and guidelines.

Ponds in the shared areas

A surface aerator has been ordered to circulate and oxygenate the water, reducing algae growth and improving the appearance of the ponds.

Gravel piles

The gravel piles in the shared areas are intended for path repairs. They will be used gradually to make the paths more even and easier to walk on.

Bins and dog-waste bags

Bins have been installed in the shared areas, and dog-waste bags will also be provided. The landlord hopes these will benefit everyone and asks residents to help keep the areas clean and welcoming. If bags are missing, please contact the caretaker, Toni.

Picnic tables

Tables and benches will be installed in the shared areas during spring to encourage community life. The landlord hopes residents will enjoy them with family and neighbours.

Resident handbook

Questions about paint have led to an update of the resident handbook. The updated handbook is attached.
